E-invoicing in Slovenia: e-SLOG, B2B mandate
Slovenia makes B2B e-invoicing mandatory from 1 January 2028. The National Assembly adopted the act on 23 October 2025, after several delays from an original 2026 date. Good news for implementation: the originally planned real-time reporting requirement was dropped, and besides the national e-SLOG format, EN 16931 is allowed too.

When does e-invoicing become mandatory in Slovenia?
The governing text is the Act on the Exchange of Electronic Invoices, adopted by the National Assembly on 23 October 2025. It covers domestic B2B transactions. From 2028 paper invoices are no longer accepted in B2B.
